Swedish

This employs mostly long, flushing strokes to relax the muscles and increase circulation. This is the most popular form of massage and is done  with some form of oil or creme to reduce friction on the skin.

Shiatsu

This is a Japanese style massage that is based on Chinese acupuncture. It is done with direct finger pressure to certain points on the body working on median patterns on individual points. This also entails some stretching to reduce muscle spasm and increase the range of motion to specific muscle groups. It is very good for quick correction of specific problems. This is often done fully clothed as no use of oil or creme is necessary.

Reflexology

This is a natural and drugless way of relieving disease

and maintaining good health throughout the body.

Reflexology is based on the principle that there are reflexes in

the feet, hands and ears which correspond to each and every

organ and all parts of the body. Stimulating these reflexes properly

can help many health problems in a natural and positive way, a type of preventative maintenance.

Reflexology is also used for post-operative or palliative care. A study in the American Cancer Society journal found that one-third of cancer patients used reflexology as a complementary therapy.

“Seeing, hearing, feeling, are miracles, and each part and tag of me is a miracle”.
